Our philosophy and curriculum are inspired by play …

Naturally young children learn through discovery.Through the power of play and our targeted curriculum children will attend school on grade level or above.  Savvy Academy prides itself on school readiness and community engagement. We believe that our students are truly the future leaders of tomorrow. We offer a number of enrichment opportunities that vary by age group.

Toddler, Twos, and Pre-k Program

Small Group Literacy

Your child will develop the love for reading early. We introduce phonemic awareness, onset and rime, and print awareness. Students will learn very important reading objectives before entering kindergarten. We teach from the Fundations curriculum.

Math

Savvy Academy believes math strengthens reasoning skills. We teach math concepts through blended and 1:1 instruction. Students will learn about number value, relationships, and geometry.

Social and Emotional

Savvy Academy uses the Second Step curriculum to teach students life skills that they’ll use forever like following directions, coping and identifying with feelings, and thinking out problems to solutions.

Discovery (Science)

Young scientists use their senses to observe and investigate their world. We will teach students how to record and analyze their findings through writing, drawing or taking photos. They will also use discovery through nonfiction literature.

Physical Education

Our P.E class is focused on strengthening motor skills and organized physical play, your child has time to slide, climb, run and jump safely each day on an age-appropriate playground. (We do not go outside below 50 degrees).

Music Appreciation

Children are given the opportunities to explore different genres of music and develop a preference of their own. Your child will learn different genres and be able to create their own masterpieces.

Technology Instruction

We use blended instruction that allows students to learn through interactive curriculums. Students are given the opportunity to learn through individual and collaborative instruction. The world is becoming reliant on technology. We want students to be ready for the constant change. They will learn on various age-appropriate programs.
